ASCO 2017: Surgical, Systemic, and Endocrine Management of Adrenocortical Carcinoma

Chicago, IL (UroToday.com) Dr. Fojo gave an intriguing discussion on one of the more rare genitourinary cancers - Adrenocortical carcinoma (ADCC). This rare cancer has a prevalence of 1-1.5 cases per 1000000 population. Although surgery remains the only curative modality, 60-70% of patients who undergo surgery, suffer a relapse. Local relapse is usually in the adrenal bed or on peritoneal surfaces.
