Leanne Schimke begins her presentation discussing the role of the nurse practitioner in the treatment of patients with advanced prostate cancer. She first looks at newly diagnosed metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer (mHSPC) patients. Also, presented is treatment options for mHSPC and the administration, adverse effects, nursing considerations, and drug interactions of these treatments.
