Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are implicated in the development of carcinomas, containing renal carcinoma. The competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network is well-known in modulating the pathological and physiological processes of tumors.
The androgen receptor (AR) is required for prostate development and is also a major driver of prostate cancer pathogenesis. Thus androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) is the mainstay of treatment for advanced prostate cancer.
