Beyond Menopause: Ending the Inequality-Why Men with Prostate Cancer Still Lack Therapies for Hot Flushes.

Androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) causes hot flushes that can disrupt an individual's quality of life. NK3R antagonists provide rapid, sustained, and nonhormonal relief of hot flushes in women, but an approved treatment is lacking for men.

Pragmatic trials are needed to generate evidence to support approval of these agents for the ADT setting.
