| State-of-the-art Lecture: First and Second-Line Therapy in Advanced and Metastatic Bladder Cancer: A Changing Paradigm
| Cora Sternberg, MD, FACP
| In this review of the American Urologic Association (AUA) plenary session, Cora Sternberg summarizes the current status of first and second-line therapy for advanced and metastatic urothelial cancer – while also touching on changes that are upcoming.

| AUA Guideline Amendment: Non-Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer/Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer |
| James McKiernan, MD |
| The 2021 AUA annual meeting included a guideline amendment update for NMIBC and MIBC provided by Dr. James McKiernan. For each section of the guidelines (NMIBC and MIBC) Dr. McKiernan reviewed important guidelines highlights (that did not change in the amendment), as well as changes to the 2020 guidelines. The NMIBC guideline low, intermediate, and high-risk stratification initially proposed in 2016 was reviewed by the panel and deemed to be still accurate and relevant. |

| Anti-Adenoviral Antibody Levels Predict Nadofaragene Firadenovec Response in BCG-unresponsive NMIBC- Results from a Phase 3 Trial
| Anirban Mitra, MD, Ph.D.
| Anirban Mitra discusses the impact of anti-adenoviral antibody levels for predicting nadofaragene firadenovec response in BCG-unresponsive non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). This analysis examined the value of anti-adenoviral antibody level as a predictor of therapeutic response in patients receiving nadofaragene firadenovec.

| Phase III Trial of Intravesical Nadofaragene Firadenovec in Patients with High-Grade, BCG-Unresponsive, Non-muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer: Two Year Follow-up in the Ta/T1 Cohort
| Yair Lotan, MD
| Yair Lotan presented 24 month follow-up data among the subset of patients with high-grade (HG) Ta/T1 disease. This multicenter, open-label Phase 3 trial enrolled two cohorts with BCG-unresponsive NMIBC: carcinoma in situ (CIS±Ta/T1) and HG Ta/T1 alone. In the present analysis, Dr. Lotan focus on patients with Ta/T1 disease, of whom 48 patients and 50 were included in the efficacy and safety analyses.

| The Efficacy of Intravesical Nadofaragene Firadenovec for Patients with Carcinoma in Situ (CIS), BCG-Unresponsive Non-Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer: Longer-Term Follow-up from the Phase III Trial |
| Anne K. Schuckman, MD |
| In a moderated poster presentation at the American Urologic Association Virtual (AUA) Annual Meeting, Anne Schuckman presented longer-term follow-up in this cohort of patients with CIS±Ta/T1 disease treated with nadofaragene firadenovec. |

| Interim Analysis of a Phase I Single-Arm Study of the Combination of Durvalumab and Vicineum in Subjects with High-Grade NMIBC Previously Treated with BCG
| Sandeep Gurram MD
| Sandeep Gurram presented interim results of a phase 1 trial combining durvalumab and Vicineum in patients with high-grade non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) previously treated with bacillus calmette–guérin (BCG) intravesical therapy. The combination of Vicineum and durvalumab in BCG unresponsive NMIBC is safe and well-tolerated with no new safety signals.

| Adverse Events after Transurethral Resection of Intermediate-Risk Non-Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer
| Vidit Sharma, MD
| Vidit Sharma discusses adverse events after transurethral resection of intermediate-risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer. Dr. Sharma presented the results of a study analyzing TURBT-associated adverse events from a prospective cohort of intermediate-risk NMIBC patients, a subgroup with a highly variable prognosis.

| Clinical Outcomes of a Randomized, Prospective, Phase II Study to Determine the Efficacy of BCG Given in Combination with PANVAC™ vs BCG Alone in Adults with High Grade BCG-Refractory NMIBC
| Ragheed Saoud, MS
| In a moderated poster presentation at the American Urologic Association (AUA) Virtual Annual Meeting, Ragheed Saoud presented results of a prospective phase II clinical trial of BCG alone or BCG combined with a recombinant pox-viral vector vaccine, PANVAC™, in patients with NMIBC who have failed a prior treatment of intravesical BCG.
