Screening for Prostate Cancer in African American Men - Judd Moul

July 31, 2018

Prostate cancer in African-American men remains a major public health issue.  Judd W Moul, MD, reviews the history of the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force screening guidelines and highlights the US trends and patterns of disparities in cancer mortality among U.S. counties from 1980 to 2014.  He touches on the molecular differences that may explain, in part, the aggressiveness of prostate cancer in this population of men.
