Celestia Higano on Clinical Trials in the M1 Castration-Sensitive /Naive Space

Celestia Higano, MD, presented, "Review of the status of ongoing and unreported clincial trials in the M1 castration-sensitive/naive space at the 2017 Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference (APCCC), in St. Gallen, Switzerland.  Neal Shore, MD, interviews Dr. Higano concluding her presentation to discuss the differences in the studies and when the potential read outs may come. 

Celestia Higano, MD, is a Professor in the Departments of Medicine (Division of Oncology) and Urology at the University of Washington and is a Member of the Clinical Division at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. She graduated from University of Massachusetts Medical School, finished internal medicine residency at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, and completed hematology/oncology fellowship at University of Washington and Fred Hutchinson. Her research interests focus on new drug development including immunotherapy, the effects of androgen deprivation therapy on the male body and mind, and development of supportive care/survivorship programs for prostate cancer patients and their partners.
