    Trichomonas vaginalis is a rare finding in urine cytology specimens, especially those from men; only 2 case reports have been described in the literature. The authors of the current report sought to determine the incidence and clinical significance of this finding in urine cytology in males.

  • Painless penile periurethral polymicrobial abscess causing urinary retention.

    In contemporary urological practice periurethral abscesses are rare. We report the case of a 61-year-old presenting with a painless penile mass and urinary retention. He underwent imaging with ultrasonography, targeted antibiotics and successful source control through open incision and drainage.
