To determine the utility of our transgluteal MRI-guided prostate biopsy approach.

960 biopsy series taken within the period of one year were evaluated including 301 MRI-guided and 659 TRUS-guided biopsies.

A high density of CD8+ tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) is associated with improved survival in multiple cancers, but its prognostic role in prostate cancer remains controversial. These models have not been compared with respect to cancer-specific mortality (CSM) prediction.

OBJECTIVE - The aim of this study was to compare the outcome of immediate versus delayed radical prostatectomy (RP) in men with low-grade prostate cancer.

MATERIALS AND METHODS - The study included a nationwide population-based cohort in the National Prostate Cancer Register of Sweden, of 7608 men with clinically localized, biopsy Gleason score 6 prostate cancer who underwent immediate or delayed RP in 1997-2007.
