Inhibitors of fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) represent an outstanding treatment approach for selected patients with urothelial cancer (UC). These agents are changing the clinical approach to a subgroup of UC, the luminal-papillary subtype, characterized by FGFR mutations, fusions, or amplification.
