  • Postoperative drug-induced priapism.

    We presented a case of a postoperative patient with low-flow priapism, possibly initiated by propofol-based anaesthesia or epidural anaesthesia. The delay in diagnosing priapism resulted in emergency interventions with a partially successful effect and eventually permanent erectile dysfunction.

  • Simultaneous pulmonary metastases from colon and prostate cancer to the same lobe.

    Simultaneous pulmonary metastases from different primary tumors to the same lobe are extremely rare, and we herein report the case. Surgical specimen of the pulmonary metastasis from colon cancer contained two additional nodules that were confirmed as metastases from prostate cancer.

  • The BRCA1 exon 13 duplication: clinical characteristics of 22 families in Northern Sweden.

    The clinical management of BRCA1/2 mutation carriers requires accurate cancer risk estimates. Cancer risks vary according to type and location of the mutation and since there is limited information about mutation-specific cancer risks, genotype-phenotype correlation studies are needed.
