  • [Impressive extension into the right heart cavities and the inferior vena cava of renal carcinoma].

    Renal carcinoma is an aggressive cancer with a high metastatic tendency. It may invade the renal vein, inferior vena cava and potentially extend in some cases to the right heart cavities. We report a case of a 71-year-old male presenting with an impressive polylobular tissular mass inside the right atrium and the right ventricle revealing an aggressive renal carcinoma extending through the inferior vena cava.

  • Ultrasound-guided percutaneous radiofrequency ablation for treating small renal masses.

    The objective of this study was to analyse and assess the experience with radiofrequency ablation of small renal masses using a contrast-enhanced, ultrasound-guided percutaneous approach for patients who are not suitable for surgical resection and/or who refused surveillance or observation.
