Pitfalls with (18)F-Choline PET/CT in patients with prostate cancer - Abstract

The 18F-choline PET-CT (FCH) has better performance in the assessment of patients with prostate cancer than 18F-FDG.

However, similarly, it is also not a tumor specific radiotracer. We present four 18F-FCH PET-CT scans in which false positive findings were correctly assessed after evaluation with CT, clinical parameters and/or histological analysis.
