SCCA-Montgomery-pictureR. Bruce Montgomery, MD is associate professor, Medical Oncology Division, University of Washington School of Medicine; affiliate member, Clinical Research Division, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center; and medical oncologist, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance

He received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine, did residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital's internal medicine division and his fellowship at the University of Washington in the division of medical oncology.

His areas of clinical expertise include treatment of high risk and advanced prostate cancer, treatment of bladder and testicular cancers, and drug resistance to hormonal therapy and taxane chemotherapy.
