MIAMI, FL USA (UroToday.com) - The efficacy of fesoterodine was assessed in patients with refractory OAB symptoms after treatment for BPH. This was a single-center pilot study of 18 male patients > 40 years of age who had bladder outlet obstruction, treated surgically, at least one month prior.

MIAMI, FL USA (UroToday.com) - This was a retrospective review of all men (n=25) who had >1 cystoscopy at a single institution, by 2 experienced urologists, between 2002 and 2014, and had ≥ 3 month follow-up. The determination of urethral stricture was according to the Purohit-Blaivas staging system. Exclusion criteria were men who were performing intermittent catheterization and those that had intervention between cystoscopies.
