DESCRIPTION:Save the Date!\NJune 3 - 7, 2016\NChicago, IL USA\NThe theme for ASCO 2016 is Collective Wisdom: The Future of Patient-Centered Care and Research. Spanning disciplines, disease sites, and treatment approaches, it is our combined knowledge that will shape the future of patient care and research. We must partner with health care professionals and specialists of diverse backgrounds to meet the evolving challenges in providing optimal care to our patients. With exciting advances in big data technology, our collective wisdom will become all the more powerful as new insights will be revealed in seconds, not years. The impact of our wisdom, however, can only be as great as our ability to strengthen the delivery of and access to high-quality cancer care. As medical professionals and as a Society, we must all continue to evolve cancer care and research with each new discovery. Fifty years from now, we can hope that future medical professionals can look back and thank us for pioneering aspects of cancer treatment that were developed in our era.\NClick HERE to learn more about the meeting.

DESCRIPTION:The field of bladder cancer is changing rapidly. The near future will look completely different and the way we treat bladder cancer will change totally. New evidence and new methodologies are just around the corner.Imagine what it would mean to you to have a complete update on bladder cancer in just three days; to be able to discuss all your questions with a multidisciplinary faculty and to meet colleagues from around the world; to have an updated, participatory, umbrella congress where you can meet people in real life and talk to the major voices in bladder cancer in a relaxed atmosphere.Well, that’s what you get at BLADDR.Last year, the first Global Congress on Bladder Cancer exceeded expectations and there was great enthusiasm for growing this educational concept. Therefore, we are very happy to invite you to the beautiful city of Edinburgh (UK) for our second congress, where once again we aim to bring together all the key opinion leaders in all disciplines and to update you on all novelties in bladder cancer treatment.Over two days the congress will focus on topics that are actual and controversial and that have an impact on day-to-day clinical practice. CREATED:20190103T183800Z
DTSTAMP:20190103T183800Z
URL:http://ftmasterclass.com
DESCRIPTION:This 2-day masterclass provides a space for physicians and other healthcare professionals that are interested in new diagnostic techniques and minimally invasive approaches to treating prostate cancer where they can get to grips with integrating these technologies into their practice. The course will focus on teaching practical elements while providing a solid academic foundation for the benefits of this new modern approach. The key learning objectives are to gain a practical understanding of:\N\NHow to carry out and look at multi-parametric MRI scans from the perspective of non-radiology healthcare professional.\NThe different forms of prostate-targeted biopsies including visually directed and MRI/Ultrasound fusion biopsy including when biopsy can be avoided in newly referred patients.\NFocal treatment principles including learning about the differing focal treatment energy modalities and how to select the appropriate energy for each case.\NPrinciples for performing salvage treatments for failure after radiotherapy and focal therapy.\NFoundations of integration between radiology and urology departments for integrated image-based treatment and diagnostic pathway.\N\NBooking Options:Follow the links to register on http://ftmasterclass.comSouth Kensington Campus, Imperial College London
