2017 Genitourinary Cancers Symposium Press Program to Feature Research Advances in Prostate, Urothelial, Kidney Cancers

Co-sponsors of the 2017 Genitourinary Cancers Symposium announced today three abstracts to be highlighted in the meeting's official Press Program. Researchers will present the findings of these studies in an embargoed presscast for reporters, taking place Monday, February 13, 2017, from 12:00 noon - 1:30 PM (ET).


The following studies will be featured during the presscast:

  • A study evaluating the association between circulating tumor DNA alterations and advanced prostate cancer outcomes (Abstract 149).
  • A study exploring the effect of recent antibiotic use on the efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitors in patients with advanced kidney cancer (Abstract 462).
  • An analysis of outcomes of patients with advanced kidney cancer who discontinue PD-1/PD-L1 therapy for immune-related adverse events (Abstract 467)
The 2017 Genitourinary Cancers Symposium will take place February 16-18 at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida. Abstracts presented at the Symposium will discuss the latest strategies in the prevention, screening, diagnosis, and treatment of prostate, kidney, testicular, and urothelial cancers. On-site facilities for reporters will include a working newsroom and access to leading experts in genitourinary cancers.
