Transportation from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) to Downtown Atlanta
By Taxi — Downtown Atlanta, GA, is approximately 15 miles from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Travel time can range anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes. The cab fare from the airport to downtown is approximately $30 one way.
By Rental Car — The AUA has partnered with Avis and Hertz as the official car rental provider for the 2012 Annual Meeting. Click here to access discount codes.
By Train — The MARTA train station at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is located in the terminal building towards the Ground Transportation area. Trains run from the airport to downtown Atlanta between 5 a.m. – 1 a.m. weekdays and from 6 a.m. – 1 a.m. weekends. Transportation between Hotels and Convention Center
During the Annual Meeting, the AUA will provide shuttle transportation between all of the AUA official hotels and the Georgia World Congress Center, except for the following hotels within walking distance:
- Omni at CNN Center
- Embassy Suites Downtown
- Hilton Garden Inn Downtown
- The Glenn Hotel
