The 1st World Congress on Pelvic Pain will be held in the Beurs van Berlage. The Beurs van Berlage is located in the city centre of Amsterdam, very conveniently located next to the Central Station and surrounded by many hotels. The Beurs van Berlage was built between 1898 - 1903 under the auspices of architect H.P. Berlage. It was a complete break with the traditional Neo Style and reactions were not very positive back then. Today the building is regarded as a leading design for the 20th century, and Berlage as the father of Dutch modern architecture. For a long time the building served as stock exchange, but as of 1985 it hosts conferences, exhibitions and cultural events. It is a real pleasure to invite you to a very special meeting:
The first World Congress on Pelvic Pain. This meeting will be a unique opportunity to talk with colleagues who are providing care to patients with pelvic pain. Come and feel the recognition when listening to lectures of experts who will share with you the latest information on all the different aspects of pelvic pain. This meeting is organized by PUGO, IPPS and ConPP, all well known associations in the world of pelvic pain. The strength of these separate organizations is now bundled in this first world meeting. The programme contains a lot of interesting information for everyone treating patients with pelvic pain. We especially invite physiotherapists and psychologists to visit our congress. This meeting will also serve as a consensus meeting.
