South Africa is the economic, political and academic powerhouse of sub-Saharan Africa and we take our responsibility seriously in keeping South African Urology right up there with the best in the world. We are putting together an interesting and varied scientific program which includes workshops, presentations by invited speakers, panel discussions, free papers, video and poster presentations. Topics covered will include Uro-Oncology with Prostate Cancer and Brachytherapy; Endo-Urology and Laparoscopy; Men’s Health and Andrology; Female Urology; General Urology and for the first time Primary Care Urology. Several leading international and local speakers have already committed to attend and contribute to the program which we will continue to update on the website.
The academic program will take place in Durban’s state of the art International Convention Centre (ICC) which has every modern convention facility available. The ICC is within safe walking distance of several international hotels including the Durban Hilton and is very easily accessible by road with adequate on-site parking.
