Dear colleagues and friends,

The Department of Urology of the University of Crete welcomes you to the 2nd postgraduate course with the topic of "Office Urology".

The purpose of the course is to provide urologists in training and recently trained urologists with extended knowledge on the day to day practice of urology in a private setting and the outpatient departments and clinics. A number of highly acclaimed teachers from Europe and Greece have already accepted our invitation to lecture on subjects varying from the management of the infertile couple to advanced renal carcinoma always within the scope of practice in the office.

I also look forward in welcoming my colleagues, the representatives of the National Urological Societies of Europe to our regular six monthly meeting.

The city of Heraklion with its museum, Knossos and the Lassithi plateau are all with near reach of the venue so that accompanying persons will be able to enjoy their stay during the scientific sessions. It is a great pleasure and honour for us to have you all in this beautiful island from the 1-4 of October 2009 and we promise you a weekend full of knowledge and pleasure.
