I would like to invite you to join us for the Second International Workshop on ‘FOCAL THERAPY AND IMAGING IN PROSTATE AND KIDNEY CANCER’ to be held June 10th - 13th 2009 in Amsterdam.

This Workshop is the result of a close collaboration between the Departments of Urology of DUKE and AMC Amsterdam.

The first meeting hosted by the DUKE team was a great success with first class and forward-thinking presentations with certain predictions of further developments in focal therapy. Invitations were extended to pathologists, radiologists, radiation oncologists, researchers, urologists, medical oncologists and biomedical engineers, uniting the cancer community in thought.

Such a wide interdisciplinary approach promotes a huge advantage in creating a solid scientific background to cautious implementation of focal therapy in clinical practice.
