The New European Surgical Academy (NESA) was founded by leading surgeons from various disciplines in order to optimize and standardize surgical procedures according to evidence-based facts. The NESA also deals with the development and construction of surgical equipment, which will allow performing operations with less risks and complications.
The NESA meeting titled "Natural Orifice Surgery and other innovations" which will take place in Naples, Italy, will enable surgeons from various disciplines to update themselves with innovative surgical ideas. Some of them, such as Transdouglas Abdominal Surgery, the modified Thyroidectomy, and recent developments in Ductuscopy and Neuropelveology, are presented for the first time. |
