The purpose of this educational activity is to provide urologic surgeons with a practical, hands-on understanding of advanced laparoscopic reconstructive kidney surgery, including the fundamentals of laparoscopic suturing, appropriate use of laparoscopic instrumentation, laparoscopic renal ultrasonography, and the surgical techniques of laparoscopic or hand-assisted laparoscopic (HAL) partial nephrectomy and laparoscopic pyeloplasty.
