Hands-on urodynamics courses are intensive courses in practical urodynamics for a small number of participants. They are intended primarily for nurse/technicians and physicians who are just beginning to do urodynamics, or for those who have some experience, but are still uncertain of their urodynamics skills. The course will appeal to physicians who intend to perform their own urodynamic testing.
Each course provides presentations, hands-on practice and actual patient examinations, and is designed to develop good urodynamic technique in a quick and efficient manner. The sessions, practicals and patient examinations are tutored by Dr. Derek Griffiths, who is a physicist and an experienced and respected urodynamicist. The link to clinical practice is reinforced by a presentation from the host urologist or gynecologist.
