NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - Tamsulosin and naftopidil, two alpha1-blockers with different affinities to the alpha1 adrenoceptor (AR) subtypes, are equally safe and effective for treating the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), according to a study conducted in Japan.
