Hypofractionated, stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) is an emerging treatment option for prostate cancer patients. The recent technological advancements have allowed precise targeting and delivery of radiation to the moving prostate while sparing normal tissues. This leads to the potential to reduce treatment-related morbidity and maintain quality of life following prostate cancer treatment. In this webinar, Dr. Lee Ponsky will review the clinical rationale for SBRT for prostate cancer and discuss his experiences treating patients at UH Case Medical Center.
