i am nurse in a very busy ER. i have been taking elmiron for almost 1 yr also taking the vistaril, elavil, flexeril for this and still nothing helping the pain. I have also tried dsmo x3 and elmiron instillations x3. i have had hydrodilation and botox injection in my bladder, and neither has not helped. I have also tried physical therapy, used a tens unit but nothing to relieve the pain. I went to pain management doctor and he gave oxycontin time release and that is just not helping. We are fixing to try the botox again and instilling in the trigon area of the bladder to see if that may helped. I have also taken prelief otc and cysto Q. Nothing is helping the pain. I also fixing to do a trial on inter-stim. Does any body else have any suggestions? Please feel free to enlighten me on something! I just feel like no one is listening to me.

This is extremely painful. I started taking Elmiron 2 weeks ago. Any suggestions on the pain? It is hard to work since I sit most of the day. Karen
