Botulinum toxin A (BTX-A) has emerged as a novel treatment option for idiopathic overactive bladder (OAB) refractory to antimuscarinic agents. The clinical needs of refractory OAB patients have been recently met by sacral neuromodulation and augmentation enterocystoplasty.
