I found this presentation extremely informative as a patient with pd. The discussion on surgical intervention of various types made me better understand the difficulties correcting the problems due to the involvement of the NV bundle & surgeons vision field not being under the plaque. The information on the lack of results with vitamins and topical verapamil with emphasis on possible benefit from utilizing electricity to push the verapamil into the plaque without injections was also beneficial. To the speaker, should be careful in referring to pd patients in your lectures as "these guys" as you could end up being one. I truly believe it would be more beneficial to give pd patients more information on the diseases progression when pd is first diagnosed, such as is given in this presentation.
