I agree. I have a failed L5/S1 discectomy in 2008 at age 45. I am type 2 diabetic, diagnosed 2006 age 43, PD immediately after controlling blood sugar. Pending ALIF surgery L5/S1 plus other issues. Large plaque on top, stable for 2 1/2 years now, wasting, thin pencil-like appearance, shortening, ED. Have low testosterone levels known since age 40. Now on TRT. Fibrotic material is also on S1 nerve root and site of '08 surgery. Good informative material. Very useful and on point.
