In October 2007, UroToday.com launched Beyond the Abstract, a well-received initiative offering an informal, fast-track method of publishing for members of the professional urology community. With this initiative, authors are given an opportunity to expand on the methodologies, concepts and/or limitations of their research by referencing the published abstract.
