SAN FRANCISCO, CA (UroToday.com) - Dr. Beer reviewed the TAX 327 trial showing a 2 month survival benefit for docetaxel compared to mitoxantrone in patients with metastatic CRPC. A second PSA decline (in 46%) occurs with re-treatment with docetaxel and the effect persists for 5 months or longer in about 45% of these patients.
