• Often an incidental finding noted by abdominal diagnostic imaging

Surgical Management

Although the treatment of the primary disease process is often effective, urologic intervention may be necessary to resolve the urologic obstruction

• Insertion of a double J stent or retrograde catheter
• Percutaneous nephrostomy tube
• Invasive surgical repair
